This is a fully working handheld game that I made out of an Arduino Nano, a blue 1-bit 128x64 OLED display, a speaker ripped out of a comic book toy/extra, a laser-cutted shell and game code written in C. Making it all work with just 2 kbytes of dynamic memory was a fun challenge. Grab a rock and defend the castle!
I've attended the VR Funhouse Game Jam in Hamburg, Germany (September 24-26). @g1d30n, @muhmac and I had 48 hours to make something fun with Unreal and Nvidia Gameworks in VR. This is what we came up with...
"The Secret Ingredient" is available on Steam
@g1d30n's brilliant Arduboy tribute to the all time classic "Elite". It took him less than 2 days to code this tiny masterpiece. Artwork was done by yours truly.
Bob's Action Racing was an iOS game that @rouaiha and I had developed specifically for the iCade (back in 2011). This is Rou's excellent Arduboy version.
It seems that @g1d30n and I can't stop making Pico-8 games :D
It is not done yet, but if you are curious and want a sneak-peek behind the scenes then check out the development blog
I teamed up with @g1d30n & @rouaiha for a week in March and we produced a fun Virtual Reality shooting gallery for the HTC Vive featuring my BellyBot creatures, a top hat and a large moustache!
"BellyBots" is available on Steam
This started out as Netpoet's "beam slide" for Revision. But then @muhmac saw it and said: "let's turn this into a real game!" - 3 nights later we had a fully working game with a wonderful tune by Bacter and scored 2nd in the compo. Party productions ftw!
A simple "Hello World!" WebVR test. You need a fairly recent Browser (Firefox Nightly e.g.), Dk2 or better and SDK 0.8.00. WebVR must be enabled. If you're really lucky, it might even work on your smartphone!
After loads of positive feedback for PCave1 g1d30n and I decided to release a 2nd installment featuring a super villain, unnecessarily hard & unfair puzzles and the full retro charme of classic 1980s games. Play at your own risk! :)
I wrote this game originally during a Ludum Dare 48h game development hackathon. It was intended as an homage to early DOS shareware games. This version here is a Pico-8 remake written by g1d30n and me in early 2015.
